​        Welcome to U.S. History!

​This website is designed to supplement and reinforce your study of US History. It's for use by students, parents, and teachers. History can be a challenging class as we will cover hundreds of years of U.S. History (Exploration through Reconsrucion) and you will need to maintain maxium effort throughout the year in order to be successful. This site will help you if you are struggling, want to explore historical events from this period that are beyond what we discuss in class, or  help you keep up with what we are doing if you are sick or out of town.

Think of this class as a trip back in time where you will learn about people just like you whose choices and actions made a lasting impact.  We study History to look back on our country’s struggles and achievements to learn from them.  Applying this knowledge, we learn how to become active citizens, working toward making our community better for  all without repeating the shoutcomings of our collective past.
